Food Photography

Food Photography needs to capture the essence of the the dishes that
have been prepared by chefs for their latest menus. Food created to
pleasure our senses, to delight us, and make ones mouths water in the
anticipation of savouring that creation.
Food photography needs care and attention, style and creative lighting to
present this gastronomical delight.

My background in food photography began in the UK where I was fortunate
enough to work with the likes of Gary Rhodes and Anthony
Worrall - Thompson. Here in South Africa I have photographed Jacques
De Jager, presenting his dishes in Salt in Clifton and Stephen Templeton
at the Dock House in Cape Town.

Photographing food prepared and beautifully presented is a great
pleasure as well as an art that requires a great attention to detail.
